A death hazard sent out to Commons leader Andrea Leadsom is being examined by the Metropolitan Police.
Thesenior Conservative minister, and MP for South Northamptonshire, campaigned for the leave project in the 2016 European Union referendum.
Theletter, which Mrs Leadsom published on Twitter on Monday, read: “Ifyou try to eliminate part of somebody’s identity, there are repercussions.”
MrsLeadsom stated it was “despicable” and called the sender a “coward”.
Theletter, signed by “the genuine 48 percent”, resembles risks gotten by other Brexit fans, consisting of a constituent of Tory MP Zac Goldsmith previously this month.
Itgoes on to state: “Youhave actually taken lives on our side. Now we will take lives on yours,” prior to signing off by stating “we are coming for you.”
A Metropolitan Police representative stated: “Policeknow threatening letters sent out to 4 Members of Parliament at the House of Commons.
“Twoof the letters were reported to cops on 9 February, and 2 on 12 February.
“Theletters are being examined by officers from the Parliamentary Liaison and Investigation Team within the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command.
